All ground unit counters have now a new look. The dot has been replaced with one of the four CAL-group unit symbols in colour: Infantry, Artillery, AFV & HQ. The HQ has its Command Radius written inside the symbol. Also, all "Light Infantry" units are distinguished by a coloured circle around the movement factor. See below.
All units are currently been replaced in the Finnish Trilogy menu. They are now larger in size and without a shadow. Check them out! I will soon post some samples of the 0.96 version of the game components in the Picture Gallery (to the right).

I'm currently working on the 0.96 version of the rules. Especially the stacking and combat rules will be somewhat improved and ready for testing October 1st.
The plan is to start testing the main campaign with the 0.97 version of the rules on December 1st.
Due to the fact that Betatesting takes much more time than anticipated (also because of my unexperience), and the need of another 80 pre-orders, the Winter War game will not be ready and for sale this year. I'm sorry about that. There's no point to announce a new preliminary release date at this moment. As soon as I have an idea, I'll let you know.
I will add one or two more scenarios for all games in the trilogy, since I've noticed that the demand for small and fast campaigns is high. After all, the main campaign is huge and takes a lot of time to play (and test).

While the testing for the introductory scenario goes on, I will continue working on the main Winter War campaign by improving the mapboard, finishing the air and naval rules, among other things. Hopefully we will be able to start Beta-testing the whole campaign at the end of August. Happy Holidays!

I have decided to make these three games in the way they were intended from the start, without any political limitations. This means that the German insignias will be portrayed correctly as they were before I removed them. I apologize for the inconvenience this might cause to some people. I shouldn't have changed anything in the first place, since I'm only following the history here and we can't deny that certain evil symbols were used.

Mikugames has agreed to remove the German Nazi-swastika from all game components. The reason they were there to start with, was that we wanted the games to be historically correct, nothing else. Note! The Finnish Airforce used a blue swastika on all of its military air units 1918-1945 and had nothing to do with the German counterpart or Nazism! Therefore they are NOT removed!
September 21st, 2007
We are now also showing two samples of the Soviet countersheets (front & back) from the Winter War campaign. Work is still in progress, though. Check them out!
The first newsletter will be sent this weekend, to all who have ordered it in the "pre-order" menu.
